There's a permanence to nobility that doesn't exist for being good. <BR/><BR/>I like that you note that Rick was an emotional man, even though he didn't wear his heart on his sleeve. He only showed it around Sam, though, which makes me think that letting Ilsa go wasn't the only sacrifice he made.
